Beautiful old lamp in great condition.
Aladdin alacite lamp with wreath finial.
Tested and working, cord is old style. Plug reads “Electri Cord/Westfield PA”. Simple push back-and-forth on/off switch.
Lovely Flower Garden pattern, tall ribbed neck.
It sits on a footed brass base that the milk glass body screws into. So just be aware that they do come apart. It looks like it has some old foam tape/glue residue in there for padding or to help secure the base. You may want to re-glue.
Brass base is marked “ALADDIN”.
The lamp body has amazing strong green glow under a 365nm blacklight, and glows with a 395. (Photos taken with 365).
Wreath finial does not glow green, but does have a little pinkish glow.
Finial has milk glass ‘ring of fire’ easily seen when held up to light.
Main body of lamp while on base is just over 11 inches tall, and total height of lamp with finial is 23 inches.
Plugs in and works like a charm. Cord extends approximately 52 inches from lamp.
There are no chips, no breaks, no cracks—it’s gorgeous!
