RARE Boy and Girl Oriental Asian Planters Rosetti Chicago Made in Occupied Japan
Such cute little planters - perfect for a couple of air plants or to use as toothpick holders. The little figures are perched on pear-shaped bases - hers has the calligraphic symbol for Longevity, his is fortune.
Made in Occupied Japan, they date to 1945-1952. Imported by Rosetti of Chicago. They are in quite nice shape for their age. Some paint loss, but colors are rich and deep.No serious damage, no cracks or repairs. Please look closely at all photos.
They measure approximately 4.5" tall x 4.25" wide.
