Theproperty located on the grounds of the New Jersey National Guard TrainingCenter "Camp Seagirt" housed a 15-room ocean front mansion.The establishment became a notable fixture in the state's political history.The structure originally served as the New Jersey ExhibitionHall at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. After the exposition, it wasdisassembled, transported by train to Camp Sea Girt, and reconstructed as aluxurious coastal retreat. It welcomed numerous prominent political andcultural figures, including Franklin D.
