ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This is an EXTREMELY RARE item! This is your opportunity to own a rare piece of military aviation / aerospace history!This is an original brochure from theUSAF Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) Program, published in 1991 by Northrop, in excellent BRAND NEW pristine condition. This brochure describes the Northrop ATF team proposal to the USAF for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the program.

The YF-23 was one of the world's most advanced combat aircraft prototypes. The brochure describes the key milestones achieved by the YF-23 prototype during the earlier Demonstration and Validation (DemVal) phase of the ATF program, in executive summary format.PLEASE NOTE that this rare brochure was not available to the general public. It was specifically targeted at officials who were in a position to influence the ATF prime contractor selection process. This included USAF senior officers, Department of Defense (DoD) officials, congressional leaders, etc. So, it was only produced in small quantities. This is an authentic vintage collectible memorabilia item for serious enthusiasts and collectors of military aviation and stealth technology history.

This brochure measures about 31.8 cm x 24.1 cm / 12.5" x 9.5", and contains 18 pages, not counting the outside cover, with many full color photos and illustrations describing the YF-23 F-23 program.I was directly involved in the original development of this brochure and it contains some graphics that I personally created.

This brochure will all be shipped in an over-sized box with plenty of protection so it arrives safely. The brochure is secured between 2 sheets of heavy cardboard within the box. The large box size and weight are factored into the shipping cost.
