Old post-medieval Viking-style button — authentic historical metal detecting find from The Faithful Aviators Treasure Hunter Store.
Small one-piece cast copper alloy button with a plain domed face and an integral cast tab shank with a clean attachment hole. Face measures 0.435” (11 mm). Overall length including shank is 0.534”. Reddish copper color on the dome with honest ground wear, linear scratches, and green verdigris concentrated on the rim and shank — classic excavated relic surfaces.
This is the early cast one-piece form collectors associate with post-medieval and Norse-style relic cabinets: thick cast shank, no separate wire loop, no two-piece shell. Plain face, no cypher or device. Sold as found.
