Very nice estate sale acquisition. 100% authentic and quite scarce Presidential Military Service (Revolutionary War or War of 1812) Land Grant dated June 25th, 1818 on vellum in very condition (small tear to lower left bottom side - measure approximately 12 1/2\" x 9 1/2\" ) hand signed by Founding Father, 5th President of the United States, James Monroe.
Monroe\'s signature is is incredibly strong and distinct in rich brown ink (all as seen) . In fact, this is one of the strongest James Monroe signatures I\'ve ever owned. If rated on scale of 1-10 for signatures, it would be a solid \"10\" .
