RARE VTG Miniature Dollhouse Plastic Roman Catholic Church Alter 1950 Mint For Sale

Early plastic miniature Roman Catholic Church Altar marked Pat. Pend in Italy AND. O.C. Italy. It is about 8 1/4 inches tall and about 6 inches wide at the base. Dollhouse size. Da Vinci\'s Last Supper adorns the bottom. The tabernacle door opens to a small niche where a goblet is stored. Candelobras on each side. The top comes off for storage. Condition looks Excellent! My late Mother purchased this in the early 50s. Stored away for half a.century.

MmA piece of history from the late 1950\'s to the early 1960\'s. Back in the day, when a Catholic young man (around the age of 6) would become a altar boy, or show interest in possibly becoming a priest. A family member be it a Father or Mother, usually a Grandparent would buy one of these lovely altar\'s for him, so that he could practice his altar boy duties. There is a chalice inside the gold door, on the altar. All this was done with the hopes that he this would lead him to the choice of becoming a Priest.
