Up for sale is an original black and white vintage photo and related news article from the Buffalo News in 1968 featuring Norm Beaudin of the BUFFALO BISONS Hockey Team. The 8x10 action photo captures Jim Morrison (21) Baltimore defenseman, as he checks a rush by Norm Beaudin (18) Buffalo right winger, in an American Hockey League (AHL) game played at Memorial Auditorium (The Aud) in December 1968. The Buffalo Bisons were an AHL team from 1940-1970. The game photo is from 12/15/68. The Bisons finished 1st overall that season, but lost to the Hershey Bears in the Championship. The Buffalo Bisons final season was 1969/70 when Buffalo earned a new NHL franchise - the Buffalo Sabres. Norm Beaudin played one year for the Bisons where he had 71 points (32 goals and 39 assists). He played from 1960-1976, the last four being with the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association. This photo is preowned in good condition.
