RARE Vtg Mack Truck Bulldog Mechanical Pencil Pre-Zip Code Era Ritepoint Works For Sale

Today I am offering this cool vintage advertising mechanical pencil.

I really don't know much about these so please use your own expertise, judgement, and research to determine if this is something you want to commit to purchasing.

This is a collectible Ritepoint twist-up mechanical pencil that uses refillable graphite lead.

It appears to be made from an early hard plastic material and chrome colored stainless steel.

The graphics are in green on the yellow section.

It has the Mack Trucks Bulldog logo above the following address:

The pre-zip-code address puts the item at 1963 or older.

It was possibly earlier based on the 5 digit phone number.

This pencil is in great vintage pre-owned condition.

I didn't attempt to clean it because I didn't want to damage it by using improper products.

The silver colored stainless steel metal fittings are fully intact and functional.

The pencil opens easily.

The lead advances and retracts smoothly.

There are only light superficial surface scratches, but nothing unsightly that stands out.

The plastic is bright, crisp, and clean. It's still glossy with no dullness or fading.

The graphics are clear and vivid.

It is etched/engraved on the side of the green section of the pen as follows:

Overall it is a very nice example of a vintage advertising pencil.
