RARE WWII 65th Coast Artillery (AA) Ocelot Insignia Pair – Original VitaChrome For Sale

In 1943, during WWII this insignia was reorganized as the 65th Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion (Semimobile) and served in the Aleutian Islands campaign. the official Army description of the 65th’s heraldry says its crest is an ocelot rampant, a wild cat native to Panama. The design is intended to symbolize the unit’s Panama Canal Zone history and its antiaircraft mission—the ocelot “fights upwards for its prey.” This is a rare find.
