RARE WWII ERA VPI Virginia Polytechnic Institute Corps Cadets Military Coat For Sale

coat has an attached cloak. Incredibly heavy wool trench coat. Previous owner had a string tag stating and told me it was their grandfathers from 1941. There is a tag in the pocket that is very hard to read but appears to give measurements and possibly a date. The date appears to say 5- 2- 1936.
Around top collar there is so small holes and a small section on front near bottom probably moth damage. Has some spots that look like something has been spilled on it. Is missing a button near top of right side attached cloak / cape covers it. Inside lining has some stitch damaging. See pictures for complete condition description.
