Maker: This delightful decorative plate is by the legendary French faience company Sarreguemines, which has been producing beautiful ceramics since 1790. Its long and colorful history ended in 2007 when the company was forced into liquidation.

Size: The plate is 9 1/2 inches wide and weighs 1 pound.
Condition: It\'s in excellent condition for its age with no marks, chips, nicks, cracks, stains, repairs or significant wear. There are several tiny scratches - possibly utensil marks - and crazing on both sides as is typical in this type of china; it\'s more prominent on the back and can be seen in the photos.
