Royal Doulton (England) Character Dog figurine lying on back, model HN1098, retired from production in 1959. The breed appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier but we will let dog fanciers decide. A charming piece in an adorable pose, with lovely detail and decoration. Fully hallmarked. Measures 4 1/2\" long by 2 1/4\" tall.No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations as determined by black light and lighted magnification exams. Felt pieces on bottom.
