RPPC German Empress Augusta Victoria, Princess Victoria Louise - Photo Postcard For Sale

This is a vintage real photo postcard (RPPC), postally used and postmarked 1910 from Liegnitz, Germany. Postcard features a view of German (Prussian) Empress Augusta Victoria (seated) and her daughter Victoria Louise. Empress Augusta is seated and wears a neo-Egyptian jeweled bodice ornament and a fur stole. She was born in 1858 and married Wilhelm II in 1881. She died in 1921 in exile in the Netherlands. Her daughter, Princess Victoria Louise is in a white dress with a ribbon sash. and their family. She was born in 1892 and became the Duchess of Brunswick. She died in West Germany in 1980 at the age of 88.
