This attractive real photo postcard depicts the impressive Beaux-Arts courthouse partially framed by mature trees. The image is hand-captioned \"Court House, Jackson, Minn.\" and was produced by The L. L. Cook Company of Milwaukee, one of America\'s best-known postcard publishers.
The Jackson County Courthouse was completed in 1909 and was designed by the noted Minneapolis architectural firm Buechner & Orth. Constructed of Bedford limestone, the courthouse features a monumental classical entrance, a prominent dome topped with a statue of Lady Justice, and richly decorated murals inside. Today it remains one of Minnesota\'s finest county courthouses and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The reverse is an unused divided-back postcard published by The L. L. Cook Co., Milwaukee.
