Exceptionally rare, complete map portfolio from the 1915 New York State Enumeration of Inhabitants. This is the specialized companion folder to the Secretary of State’s report, designed for high-level administrative and genealogical research.

This set is remarkably complete, containing 94 individual ward and election district maps housed in their original designated envelopes. Unlike many surviving sets that only contain index maps, this portfolio includes the granular, street-level district maps used to navigate the 1915 Census.

The portfolio is bound in its original dark green cloth with a bright, crisp gilt title on the spine. The original cloth ties are fully intact and functional. The internal envelopes are present and categorized by city as issued. The maps are in very good vintage condition, showing very little toning and most of the maps appear never opened. A very few show fold wear consistent with age.
