Rare Antique 1900s A.L.of H. Fraternal Silk Flag And Pole With Eagle Amity 576. For Sale

Up for sale is an ultra rare antique 1900s American Legion of Honor silk flag with original wooden pole with original cast brass Eagle finial. This flag is from the Amity council 576. I believe this council was from the New York City Council? This is a fraternal order American legion of honor flag that was founded in Boston Massachusetts in 1878 and it was dissolved in the early 1900s so there’s not going to be many of these flags out there for sale. This is 100% authentic and original. The beautiful red silk flag has hand painted stenciled lettering and gold bullion fringe also has the original multi piece wooden parade shaft and its original detailed cast brass eagle finial. The wood pole comes apart in 3 sections. I believe this flag and pole are from the early 1900s. I’ve never seen another one for sale anywhere. These are extremely rare and hard to find anywhere. The flag measures 30 by 21. And the flag pole measures just over six feet tall. The silk flag is in excellent condition for its age no rip’s or tears. This is a great fraternal order American legion of honor display piece for any serious collectors.
