Antique Signed Anton Lang Art Pottery Vase – Oberammergau, Germany
Beautiful hand-thrown studio pottery vase signed “Anton Lang” and “Oberammergau” on the underside. Anton Lang (1875–1938) was a renowned German potter from Oberammergau, Bavaria, and is widely known for both his pottery and his role in the famous Oberammergau Passion Play.
This vase features a striking mottled green and blue-green crystalline-style glaze with a rounded bulbous body and narrow neck. The glaze exhibits excellent depth and variation, making it an attractive display piece for collectors of European art pottery.
