Up for sale is a genuine Early Cretaceous spinosaurid dinosaur tooth attributed to Cristatosaurus lapparenti (often regarded as synonymous with or closely related to Suchomimus tenerensis). This specimen was recovered from the famous fossil beds of the Elrhaz Formation in the Ténéré Desert of Niger.

Specimen Details:

Taxonomy: Cristatosaurus is a classic African baryonychine spinosaurid. Due to overlapping stratigraphic levels and anatomical traits, many paleontologists consider Cristatosaurus and Suchomimus to represent the same or closely allied taxa, making this a fantastic specimen for spinosaurid collectors.

Morphology: Displays the characteristic conical, slightly recurved shape typical of fish-eating spinosaurids, built for capturing slick aquatic prey. Shows vertical enamel fluting, clear surface texture, and an intact root base attachment area.
