The shoulder boards on East German tunics were commonly attached with buttons and laces. Many officers and others preferred these screw-back buttons instead. The base plate is either sewn to the tunic or simply poked through one of the holes, and the button is screwed down through the board from the top to the base plate. These are old, original stock fresh from long-term storage in the former East Germany. Most appear to be unused. These have become RARE and are rarely seen anymore. You will receive TEN of these units or FIVE PAIRS.
