This is a rare piece of hand-painted Italian pottery made by Fratelli Mari in Deruta, Italy, signed on the bottom.
Each luxury ceramic from this company is custom-made, and using reverse image search and looking on the company’s website, I can’t find another one that looks like it with the size and handles. So this very well could be one-of-a-kind!
This indoor/outdoor planter urn is just over 19” high and weighs 20 pounds with handles, making it very sturdy. It could also serve as an umbrella stand. This large Italian pot is painted in the company’s Tartuca pattern with bright yellow and blue. Centered on each side is a turtle or tortoise with white flowers (daisies I think).
Similar items on the company’s website sell for between €600-850 or around $700-$1,000.
