I am listing this as new without tags as it looks in just absolutely fantastic condition. I\'m pretty sure it got put in the kitchen drawer in the 70\'s and never came out again. The colors are incredibly vibrant, the towel is very soft and there are no stains or holes or smells or anything I can find wrong with it. This is an all cotton fringed white towel with bright yellows, reds, blues, greens, and oranges. It features a beautiful Holly Hobbie in her bonnet and patchwork apron stirring a bowl with two kittens watching and the phrase \'Love\'s a stirrin\' below. The image is surrounded by a frame of beautiful flowers.
There are a few irregular length strands in the towel material, which is really normal for towels. I still do not believe it was ever washed or used I think this is the condition it was sold in. You can see the sewn in tag on the back that just looks absolutely immaculate. I just think there\'s no way this was ever even washed!
This is a standard size hand towel. With fringe included it is approximately 25 inches long and a little less than 16 inches wide.
The tag on this towel says Royal Terry, Barth & Dreyfuss of California All cotton Made in the USA registered trademark.
If you are interested I am listing another towel with the exact same vibrant Holly Hobbie print but by a different towel maker brand, which is fascinating to me! I would be happy to combine shipping, just shoot me a message. For a comparison between the two towels, see the last couple pictures. The Wamsutta towel is just a smidge longer And the centering of the image is a bit different on the two. They are slightly different shades of white. The Royal Terry is perhaps a little bit softer and the Wamsuta is perhaps a little bit thicker. The images are identical.
