Loose mounted onto card.

The sampler is worked in silk on linen ground, in a variety of stitches.

No border. Colours green, blue and pink. Alphabets A-Z in upper case. No signature or date.

Wonderful examples of a boxer and floral band motif.

This Sampler is unusual in it\'s small size. Usually samplers of this period are long, narrow, band samplers.

CONDITION: Very Good. No holes. No staining. No stitch losses, just a couple of loose threads.

Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading. No colour run. Stretching is slightly uneven.

Frame in good condition, ready to hang.
