This patch does not illuminate under a black light guaranteed to be original a very rare piece of Special Forces history.During Vietnam War, the US 5th Special Forces Group, in conjunction with Military Assistance Command, Vietnam - Studies and Observations Group (MACV-SOG), conducted a series of highly classified reconnaissance missions in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, known as RT (Reconnaissance Team) ANACONDA.RT ANACONDA was one of several Recon Teams that were part of Command and Control North (CCN), a MACV-SOG unit that operated in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. The team was comprised of specially selected and highly trained soldiers who conducted covert reconnaissance and surveillance operations behind enemy lines.RT ANACONDA\'s mission was to gather intelligence on enemy troop movements, supply routes, and other important targets. The team would often be dropped into enemy territory via helicopter or parachute and operate for several days or weeks, relying on their stealth and training to evade detection by the enemy.The team was equipped with specialized weapons and equipment, including long-range radios and night vision devices, to help them complete their missions.
