It\'s so rare to find the two matching pieces, the mayonnaise bowl and the matching under plate.
Made by the Theodore Haviland Company in Limoges, France between 1904-1920.This set was made for the Thomas West & Co., Savannah, Georgia.
This set is in leaf form with pink roses and green leaves. The edges and handle of the mayonnaise dish is painted in gold.
This set is just gorgeous. Use it for mayonnaise, cocktail sauce, melted butter or any other sauce you might need.
You can also use the two pieces separately, use the bowl for sauces and the under plate for nuts and olives for example.
Both pieces are in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks.
The under plate can be used as a serving plate. It measures almost 7.5 inches long and 6.25 inches wide. It stands 1 inch tall.
The mayonnaise bowl measures 6 inches long and 5 inches wide. It stands just over 2 inches tall.
Both pieces are well marked.
