Rare VTG Nachtmann Fairy Lamp Cobalt Blue Cut To Clear Complete W/ Base Decor For Sale

An absolutely fantastic piece from Nachtmann in Germany. I will include some information in with the photos about the history of this company and its world renowned art glass. This piece is rare in any form, but you almost never encounter it with the base included. The top piece simply rests on the bottom piece. It is Nachtmann's take on the fairy lamp. This is blue cut to clear glass, no low end flash or anything like that. So it is a keepsake, worthy of handing down. It is approximately 8.5 inches in height before the base. The base itself is about an inch in height. Diameter at the top of the lamp is 3.75 inches and the base diameter is about 4.5 inches. You can read about the break resistance of Nachtmann glass with the information I provided in the photos. Just a gorgeous piece of decor and not something you're likely to see every year on here. Note: I did things in a reverse order here as I photographed the item before I gave it a ginger washing. So I'm not sure if the sticker residue from the Nachtmann sticker was showing in the photos but I have since gingerly removed that. There may even be tiny minuscule bits of wax residue in the base if I missed anything but I don't think I did. It can easily be taken care of in about another 5 minutes of TLC if there's anything remaining still. While I was doing this, I felt around the rims top and bottom and did not see or feel any chipping. So the excellent condition is confirmed
