Rare Vintage Kel-Lite 1st Gen 5-D Large Head Police Flashlight Barstow CA Works For Sale

I\'m 70 years old and this is the only flashlight I have ever owned that has lasted me over 30 years. It still works just fine. It has had its share of nicks and scratches, but thankfully I never had to hit anyone with it. Faithfully kept in the front seat of my Crown Vic cruiser in my LE years. Condition Description:Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible 1st Generation Kel-Lite Large Head 5-D cell flashlight. This is the ultimate \"baton-style\" vintage law enforcement light from the early 1970s.

• Functionality: 100% working! The switch slides smoothly, and the light cycles on and off exactly as it should. It appears to be completely original from top to bottom.
• Exterior: Displays honest character and \"duty wear\" with a fair share of cosmetic nicks, scratches, and minor finish wear across the heavy aluminum body. No major dents or structural damage.
• Interior: There is some superficial, minor cosmetic surface corrosion scaling inside the battery tube, which is typical for its 50-year age. However, the contacts are sound, the threads turn smoothly, and the flashlight operates perfectly.
