Cup was most likely designed and commissioned in the West(Glasgow, Scotland) and contracted out to a factory in China where the double happiness symbol was used as standard good fortune. A nice piece of mixed history from 1901 with a lot of detail. Possibly done in Spelter but I am not sure.
