Being offered is a vintage, old, advertisingmechanical lead pencil. The pencilstates, Be On The Ball Call Mitchell & Cassell For Mopar Parts Phone 6-0845 Direct Long Distance 3-0856 Peoria. The business was located in Peoria. Illinois.The pencil was made by Redipoint. The material looks to be a hard plasticmaterial with metal portions. The pencilshows age related wearing like surface scuffs, deep scratches, and blemishes in places. The pencil is in used condition. I have not tested the working condition ofthis pencil, but all the internal parts look intact as the pencil twists, and isbeing sold as pictured. The pencil isapprox. 5 1/4” long. I am not sure how tograde something like this so have taken close-up pics to help assess the item’scondition, what you see is what you get.
