Built with local timber, it has continuously operated out of its original log building for over a century.In its early days, the tavern served as a watering hole for locals, tie hacks, and cowboys, and also hosted community meetings in its dance hall while providing lodging upstairs.Proudly advertising itself as the "World's most unique Bar," the tavern's interior features extensive taxidermy including moose, elk, and buffalo mounts alongside antique firearms, original log paneling, and a handmade bar crafted from local wood.Today, the Rustic Pine Tavern remains open and continues to be a vibrant center of the Dubois community.
