3rd class relics are much different from 1st and 2nd class relics. First and 2nd class relics
are rare, are considered sacred, and are usually found in churches.First class relics are actually from the body of the saint like a strand of hair.Second class relics are something the saint owned like a Bible or a piece of clothing.Third class are just \"touch\" relics. They are pieces of cloth that have been touched to a1st or 2nd class relic and then cut up into tiny pieces and put into medals, holders, etc...
It may have been a piece of cloth that was touched to the saint, touched their tomb, ortouched to anything they owned or wore.
I only sell 3rd class relics which I have bought over the years at various sales, and for themost part, I have no history of the items.
