They are pieces of cloth that have been touched to a1st or 2nd class relic and then cut up into tiny pieces and put into medals, holders, etc...
It may have been a piece of cloth that was touched to the saint, touched their tomb, ortouched to anything they owned or wore.
I only sell 3rd class relics which I have bought over the years at various sales, and for themost part, I have no history of the items.
