The Santa Maria is made out of wood with no plastic pieces. It features plank on frame construction. The front bowsprit and three masts are connected securely using advanced rigging and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand. Each yard has an attached hand-stitched unfurled sails made of fine linen. Metal ornaments, cannon, and wooden lifeboats are visible on this model. It comes with a stand and ready for display.
History:
Santa María, original name Marigalante, Christopher Columbus' flagship on his first voyage to America. The Santa María was built in Pontevedra, Galicia, in Spain's north-west region. About 117 feet (36 metres) long, the "Santa María" had a deck, three masts, and forecastle and sterncastle and was armed with bombards that fired granite balls. She performed well in the voyage but ran aground off Haiti on Dec. 25, 1492, and was lost. Her sister ships, the "Niña" and "Pinta," less than half her size, returned safely to Spain despite near catastrophe in storms.
RETURN POLICY

1. When deemed fixable, we will send parts to repair the model
2. When damage is unable to be fixed, we will ship out a new replacement at no cost. If replacement is not available in a reasonable time, we will issue 100% refund for the cost of the item.
Any goods damaged in shipment need to be reported to us within 7 days, shipping cost is non refundable in any case.
For any other reasons that you are not satisfied with our models, simply return it within 7days and we will refund the money. Restocking 15% fees apply. Amount will be refunded excluding shipping charges. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.
Items with free shipping have a shipping charge of $96.43 imputed in the price. Any refund will be adjusted to compensate us for actual shipping costs of $ 96.43 for any return
