This commemorative Space Needle Glass Ticket is a unique art piece created from renovation glass removed during the 2018 Space Needle observation deck renovation in Seattle, Washington.
According to the original information card included, this piece was made from barrier and bench glass from the upper observation level of the newly renovated Space Needle. The renovation glass was water-jet cut, beveled, and laser etched by Seattle artisans, incorporating the graphic elements from the modern Space Needle admission ticket design.
The thick frosted glass block features a detailed laser-etched image of the Space Needle, along with the words “Space Needle,” a barcode with ticket number, and the phrase “Your Ticket to the Future – Step In, Step Up, Step Out.” The bottom reads “Admit One,” reinforcing the ticket theme.
Because each piece was cut from architectural Space Needle renovation glass, every example is slightly unique. The result is a striking display piece that works well as a desk sculpture, paperweight, or collectible Seattle souvenir.
This example includes the original box and informational card explaining the origin of the renovation glass.
Condition appears excellent with no chips or cracks observed. The etched design is crisp and the frosted glass surfaces display beautifully.
