This is a rare set from a New England collection. I was told that these postcards were from the early part of the 1920s collected as part of a Grand Tour. The cards photographed are the cards included.
Condition
These postcards are generally clean but may show age‑related wear, including possible rubbing, toning, foxing, corner wear, stains, chipping, album marks, or light soiling.
Set of 9 original hand‑pulled architectural etchings (“Original‑Radierung / Handabzug”) published by Kunstverlag Gebrüder Born, Berlin W8, each depicting historic landmarks in Bayreuth. All nine pieces include hand‑applied pencil signatures from the artists who produced the plates. These etchings were issued as premium artist editions and show strong plate impressions, detailed architectural linework, and uniform presentation.
