Signed Authentic USSR Bullion Embroidered Hat General Uniform Cap Badge. Russian For Sale

Autograft signed “From Yuri to Gary” ORIGINAL USSR vintage hat for General of the Soviet Union Motorized Infantry. This hat is for USSR General Service uniform. The hat has black leather peak and red band. This beautiful hat is WIRE embroidered. The hat has authentic general cap badge and 2 general buttons. Cap badge and buttons are gold plated. Original generals' cap badges are 2 piece construction. Please note that the star is the separate piece connected to the cap badge by 2 rivets and elevated over the cap badge (see picture). The hat is made out of great quality wool and lined with silk serge. The sweatband is made out of genuine leather, and has a red silk string for an adjustable fit. This feature is available only for generals and marshals caps. Russian size is 59, which is equal to 7-3/8 US size or 23.2 inches circumference. The hat is in excellent vintage condition. This is the original Soviet Infantry General hat made in USSR and issued by Soviet military factory in 1980s according to the Ministry of Defense of USSR manual “Rules and Regulation of wearing Military Uniforms” (page 105, pic. 15). The Soviet military caps were very well built. Inside each of the Soviet caps has a steel plate in front and a spring around the top. This structure allows keeping shape of the caps permanently.
