• The group finds the dying Matriarch before Thanos teleports them to his ship, the Sanctuary.
• Thanos reveals he is aiding Warlock because Magus is Warlock’s future self.
• If Magus succeeds in corrupting Warlock, Thanos’s own plans for power will be thwarted.
• Thanos shows Warlock that the only way to prevent Magus’s existence is for Warlock to commit suicide!
• He must kill himself in a specific way that erases the timeline leading to the Magus.
• Magus discovers Thanos’s interference and attacks the Sanctuary!
• Warlock prepares to carry out his self-sacrifice to save the universe from his future self.
