Spanish American War Buffalo Soldier Uniform - 10th Cavalry - Bullion Insignia For Sale

This has writting in the inside pocket and the bottom one looks like Gerber??? I have had this looked at and several say yes it is Buffalo soldiers and a couple say it could be a Militia piece. I can find no 10th Cav Militia unit and everyone comes up Buffalo Soldiers! Any info is welcomed but either way this has a real nice bullion collar insignia which has been speculated to be Military Police Command or Company? I do not know and have exhausted searching for answers. There is no return for any reason so look at the photos. Will be fully insured.
