A vivid Divided Back-era color lithograph of the St. Joseph, Missouri Fire Department, published as No. 5017 by the Acmegraph Co. of Chicago. The card captures the full complement of horse-drawn apparatus — multiple teams of horses, several pieces of equipment, and a large contingent of uniformed firefighters — posed before the ornate red-brick station with its bell tower. Postmarked St. Joseph, Missouri, circa August 1909, and addressed to a recipient on Collins Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.

Colorful and generally sound for age; light scratch lines cross the image face, notably in the upper right quadrant and across the brick facade. Minor age toning on the reverse. Corners show light wear. Overall still presents attractively.
