This rare vintage Stanley No. 5 plane, dating back to around 1915, is a beautiful patina barn find in its unrestored original condition. NO RESTORING OR CLEANING HAS BEEN DONE TO IT EXCEPT FOR A FULL INSPECTION. THERE ARE NO CRACKS IN THE METAL. THE REAR TOTE IS CRACKED. THE APRON OF THE FRONT KNOB HAS SOME CHIPS. THERE IS EITHER PAINT OR GLUE ON THE REARE TOTE BUT I WILL LEAVE THAT FOR THE NEXT OWNER TO DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH IT.Beautiful presentation, lovely piece!
