Stanley Sweetheart 750 Series 2010 Individual 3/8" Socket Chisel in Retail Box For Sale

Gorgeous New Old Stock 2010 Series 1" Stanley Sweetheart 750 Chisel With STANLEY SW Hornbeam Handle.In Retail Box, Still Wrapped, Seal Broken,Factory Grind, Never sharpened.This chisel was sold in an individual retail box, that is no longer available in the USA. When these were first introduced in 2010, they were offered in sets of four and eight and as individual chisels in these boxes with Plastic hang hooks affixed to the side of the box to hang on end caps. I recall seeing these in Woodcraft and immediately added the four piece set to my Christmas wishlist. Because the individual chisel size was printed only on the box bottom (when hanging), retailers often wrote the size on the front facing top of the box. This one has the size written on it. The hang hook has been removed from this box. The box is in good shape but has flaws and tape from retail handling. Please see pictures.This chisel is from a brand new Stanley 2016 release of SW 750 Series Chisels. My wife bought me a set and one of the handles had a defect. Contacting Stanley hoping to find a replacement handle, I learned these are out of production, plus replacement parts were never offered for their hand tools. This means that even though these sets are still being sold, they are no longer produced and therefore no longer warranted. Wanting to keep my set pristine, I purchased several sets and am offering some after market parts, which are all that are available should anyone have an issue with something in your set.

I go through them and correct as many flaws as possible and sometimes use the tool for parts if it beyond refurbishing. Replacement parts are no longer made and sourcing them is difficult and expensive. Sometimes, I must purchase another tool just for a single part. I believe in transparency and tell you what I have done. I have decades of experience restoring antique tools.
