Up for offer is an originalvintage pre-owned StateOf Texas Sesquicentennial Celebration 1836-1986 Commemorative Belt Buckle. Thebelt buckle was produced in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Texasindependence from Mexico. Found at an estate sale of a belt buckle collector.In excellent condition. Used only as adisplay. Measures about 3 ¾” long by 2 ½” wide.Has on the front an enameled “Texas” shape as a flag. In a circle aroundit has “State of Texas Sesquicentennial Celebration 1836 – 1986”. On the back has “Official CommemorativeBuckle”, “License by Texas 1986 Sesquicentennial Commission” and “TexomaLeather & Brass, Denison, Texas 75020.”It is made of a heavy metal which I believe is pewter.
