Steelite International white & gold Ceramic Ashtray/Made in England/retro decor
Steelite International is a company located in England that makes basic, mass-produced serveware items (barware, tableware, etc.) for the hospitality industry. This white ceramic ashtray has 3 notches and a center design of a gold British lion holding a globe, under a crown, with laurel leaves. It does not specify which entity this was designed for, but it is very similar to the Wedgewood version for Cunard Lines that was on the Queen Elizabeth 2 ship. The only difference is that the latter has an exterior gold stripe.
Many hotels and restaurants will have a version of this ashtray, also with their logo and/or without the lion. It is stamped on the underside with \"Steelite International Made in England\". It is in excellent condition with no damage. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, discoloration, etc. Please review all of the photos for more details regarding the condition.
