Nice group of mid-1980s Superman comics from the original long-running series, including the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover issue #415 featuring the revelation of Supergirl’s secret marriage.
All six books are complete, with clean interiors and covers/interiors firmly attached. I am not a professional graders, so I uploaded these photos to ChatGPT Plus, which assigned the following grades and wrote the following grading notes:
Superman #401 – VF/NM 9.0
Very attractive copy with strong color and gloss. Minor spine/edge wear and a few very small handling defects. Excellent overall presentation.
Superman #403 – VF 8.0
Bright, attractive copy with moderate minor spine stresses, light edge/corner wear and general handling wear. Still presents very well.
Superman #404 – FN/VF 7.0
Nice-looking copy overall, but with more noticeable handling wear, including spine stresses and cover creasing/wear that keeps it below the VF range.
Superman #405 – VF- 7.5
Strong color and good overall presentation. Several small spine stresses and some edge/corner wear, particularly visible against the darker cover.
Superman #407 – VF/NM 9.0
Bright, glossy copy with excellent eye appeal. A few very small spine stresses, minor edge/corner wear and a few tiny back-cover handling marks.
Superman #415 – VF/NM 9.0
Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Very clean white cover with strong colors and excellent overall presentation. Only minor spine/edge wear and light handling wear visible.
