Superman Commemorative Pewter Statue 1991 12” Tall RARE RARE RARE Nolin Matthews For Sale

The placard says “Scupturines Collectors Series Superman Commemorative premier limited edition 1991 NO. 0021/ 2500. “ Then below that “Truth, Justice, And The American Way”. I doubt they ever made 2500. In fact I doubt if even 100 were produced. They were made to order and the high retail price in 1991 was $700. I remember cause I bought one for my wife. Her’s is #33. A decade later I found and bought one on . It was #23. Another decade later I found another on and it is # 21. Folks…this is seriously rare. The only slight flaw I saw was a little scuff on Superman’s cape. This is a true treasure. Aside from the wood base, it is solid pewter. The sculpture is by Nolin Matthews which is also on the base. I will ship it super well packed with heavy insurance for a flat $40.00 fee as it is quite heavy…almost 10lbs. and only within the continental USA. No returns accepted.

Superman Limited Edition Pewter Statue #46/2500 (DC Comics Inc., 1991). "Truth, Justice and the American Way." The literal Man of Steel (technically pewter) is presented here in this fantastic limited edition statue by the sculptor Nolin Matthews. While the base of this statue indicates that it was released in an issue of 2,500 units, it is believed that fewer were actually manufactured, perhaps no more than 500. Numbered 46, this statue stands over 12.5" tall including the wood base, and the base measures 8.5" x 6.75". Text on the base reads, "Sculpturines Collectors Series Nolin Matthews Superman Commemorative". Sold out for 30 years, this fantastic piece shows minor handling wear with some minor nicks in the corners of the base, the condition is Very Good.
