THE X-MEN #12 (Marvel 1965). KEY BOOK: Features first appearance of JUGGERNAUT and the origin story of PROFESSOR X. Story by STAN LEE. Artwork by JACK KIRBY and ALEX TOTH. GOOD PLUS (2.5) condition.

This is a complete but low-grade copy of this magazine with very good color and some of the original gloss. There is heavy wear along the spine with a 1 1/2" split at the top and a 3 1/2" split at the bottom. The cover is detached at the bottom staple, and both staples tightly bind all interior pages (centerfold photo provided). There are chunks out and chipping along the top and right-hand edges. On the back cover there is chipping along the top edge and a sunlight stripe at the top left corner. At the top of the inside cover near the spine edge there is a tiny piece of tape. The inside covers show some tanning at the edges and brittleness there. Despite these troubles, the book presents pretty well. The interior pages look cream to light tan.
