On offer is this wonderful, Royal Doulton \'Flambé Veined\' vase.The identifiable red glaze of the flambe pieces took many years for Royal Doulton to master at the turn of the 20th century, where they first exhibited their flambe wares at the 1904 St Louis Exhibition. The Chinese were believed to have discovered the method of achieving this glaze during the Ming dynasty (c1570-1620).Shape number 1617, bottle form, great colours of blues, orange and red.Height of 33.8cm. 711g.In good condition - No chips, cracks or crazing.
