Volume 1 was released as \"The Red Book Illustrated,\" making this volume the first under the title \"The Red Book Magazine: A short story magazine.\" Edited by Trumbull White, this edition includes \"A Point of Law\" by David Graham Phillips - the early 20th century author and journalist who exposed corruption in the Senate and ultimately was nurdered in 1911 at the age of 43.
Cover is in fair shape, bottom corner of 1st page is torn, and the rest of the magazine is in excellent condition for a 122 year old magazine!
