A extremely rare piece of the X-Men franchise. Ms.Marvel from The X-Men Animation Production Cel &Key Master Background. Piece measuring 22”x15”. A Very large setup!
The piece is from Season 2, Episode 9 of X-Men: The Animated Series, which originally aired January 8, 1994. It is actually Ms. Marvel’s only appearance in the entire original animated series.
I believe your cel depicts the hangar/air-base sequence
The episode’s flashback shows Rogue and the Brotherhood breaking into an Air Force base to steal a bomber. Ms. Marvel arrives to stop them, flies into the hangar, and smashes Blob through the rear wall before pursuing Rogue’s aircraft. She then catches the aircraft in flight.
