Large leaded slag glass dome lamp shade in the Tiffany style, roughly 16 inches across. Floral pattern in pink, blue, green, amber and cream art glass with a green leaf border.
THIS IS REAL LEADED GLASS, NOT PLASTIC. Every piece is individually cut art glass, wrapped and soldered - you can see the solder lines and the variation in the slag glass in the photos. This is not the molded-plastic \"stained glass look\" shade that floods the market at $40.
IT IS NOT AUTHENTIC TIFFANY STUDIOS. Genuine Tiffany Studios shades are STAMPED INTO THE METAL on the inner bottom rim, in all caps, \"TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK,\" usually with a model number. This shade has a plain spun-metal cap with a\"96\" marking and no manufacturer stamp anywhere. That makes it a quality reproduction - most likely late 20th century. I have photographed the cap and the number so you can confirm this yourself.
What you\'re buying is a well-made decorative leaded glass shade, priced as exactly that.
CONDITION: no cracked or missing glass panels found. Solder lines intact throughout with no separations. Normal patina to the lead came and the cap. Photographed from the top, the side, the interior, and the cap.
