SOLD TO ME AS A WALL POCKET IT CLEARLY DOESN\'T FIT ANY OF THE USUAL WALL POCKET MODELS, BUT IT DOES FIT AN UNUSUAL TYPE OF HAT, WITH A LONG TAIL AND WONDERFUL SCALLOPS AROUND THE RIM. It looks to be c.1890-1910s, has a few warps broken here and there, but nothing horrible. Clean and finely woven polychrome from northwestern California. Well woven old example perfect for any collection from advanced to museum grade. CONDITION: EXCELLENT with some of the warpos on the back showing wear as well as a tiny 1./2 +/- inch teart where the tail meets the bowl portion.
